This month, I had the privilege of sitting down with the trailblazing historian behind the book, Professor George Chauncey. We discussed his formative contributions to the field of LGBTQ+ history in its earliest days, his experience testifying as an expert witness on behalf of gay rights in the courtroom, and, of course, the rich gay history of New York City.
